Girl Scout troops of the Nation’s Capital - you are all invited to The Nutcracker!
The Northern Virginia Ballet, the area's only professional youth company, is proud to present its production of the holiday classic, "The Nutcracker". Our performance is the perfect way to kick off the Holiday Season! Gorgeous Russian produced sets, exquisite costuming, and the talented and award-winning students from the Academy of Russian Ballet!
We offer an incredible program for Girl Scouts! Arrive early for our Pre-Show activities, enjoy the special seating areas for our Scouts and their families to watch the performance. After the show, we host a Nutcracker discussion and Q&A session with our Artistic Director, followed by a tour of the backstage areas – including getting to go up on stage! Our tour concludes with everyone meeting Clara, Sugar Plum and many of their friends for photos and autographs! To finish the day, each Girl Scout will receive one of our custom Nutcracker 2025 patches!
Our 2025 Nutcracker performance is on Saturday Nov. 29 at 2pm. Tickets for siblings and other family members can also be purchased for the same rate as Scouts and Leaders. We are excited to have you join us!
1) Leaders - Fill out the RESERVE YOUR TICKETS form below to register your troop for the performance.
2) Leaders - Once you have Reserved your tickets using the form below, the PAY FOR YOUR TICKETS button will show and you will be able to purchase tickets for all of your Troops student ($20) and adult ($30) tickets using a credit card.
** You will need to enter the Troop Leader's name and the Troop number in order to complete the order. (If the Troop Leader will not be attending include the Designated Adult and their information who will pick up the tickets for the Troop)
** Please order all tickets for a Troop together in one order - this allows us to be sure you are all sitting together at the performance!
** Do not ask parents to go online and order their tickets individually. Parents occasionally forget the Leaders name and/or Troop number which can cause issues trying to be sure your Troop is together for seating as well as ticket distribution.
3) The Scout Leader (or designated adult) will pick up your packet of tickets on the performance date. No tickets will be emailed.
4) Please plan to arrive with your Troop by 1:30 pm to participate in the activities before the show.
